All five episodes of Travelog were available as take sways at the opening night, April 15th. All 250 copies were swiftly snagged. A personal listening station was available as well throughout the duration of the gallery.
Aaaaand tada! We have ourselves a gallery. More pictures and final updates to come, and my apologies for the extreme delay. It’s been a very busy month.
Here’s what we (The Five) put together for EPOCH, the Art and Design “on-site” show. After a night of stealing bits and pieces from everyone’s studio, this was the final result. A still image of the completed form ‘EPOCH’ is being used for the print material. Don’t worry, everyone’s stuff was returned…
Never been busier in my life. Here’s what’s up.
The Five Show is well on its way. We’re finalizing plans and starting to advertise. I don’t doubt that all the extra work involved with having an off-site show will be well worth it.
I just finished the Transportation episode of Travelog today, which I’ll post shortly. Culture and Language are very close behind. The last steps are to finish Coming Home and to create a trailer of sorts for the gallery opening.
I’m also in the middle of finalizing what is going to be on the walls of my space in the gallery. I’ll be painting a map of the world on the back wall and adding pictures of each person that tells a story in Travelog. I think I’ll also put up some pictures from the places we’ve traveled and a few photos of people recording.
In the meantime of my technological crisis, here’s some pictures for The Five Show.
My trusty MacBook Pro has crashed on me. If I’m lucky, I’ll be getting it back on Friday. If I’m not, IP will definitely not come to a smooth finish. Wish me luck and a sprinkling of mental stability.
